VetCorrect was launched in December 2021 by Dr Brendan Gammeter, BVSc, MANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine), a companion animal vet with 30+ years of experience. Brendan was frustrated by the time wasted going from the consult room to his office to search for relevant information in a textbook (which was not necessarily up-to-date), or trying to remember his login details to search for the same information on a website. He wanted a solution that would decrease his own stress and therefore that of any colleague who used VetCorrect.
Brendan is married with 4 children, and lives in New Zealand, where he enjoys the great outdoors. He loves the challenge of working up complicated medical cases, performing ultrasound examinations, and teaching. He has been an examiner for the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine at Membership level on numerous occasions.

Brendan is passionate about companion animal medicine, and believes vets should use information that is up-to-date as they make diagnostic and therapeutic decisions. Ultrasound is one of his favoured diagnostic tools and he enjoys teaching younger vets new skills.
